Spring of the 14th Year of Wanli

About This Novel
In the spring of the fourteenth year of Wanli, there was a fire in the Qianqing Palace, and an old soul lived in the body of the young emperor. Zhu Ping'an, deputy researcher of the Budget Department of the Provincial Department of Finance, has been dealing with numbers all his life. He has never solved a shocking case or made any ill-gotten gains. When he opened his eyes again, he became the twenty-three-year-old Wanli Emperor, Zhu Yijun. In front of us are the charred ruins of the Qianqing Palace after the fire, a mess with an empty treasury and a tight budget, the undercurrent of the partisan struggle in the civil service group, and the intertwined eunuch forces of the Secretary of Ceremony and the Dongchang. Four years have passed since Zhang Juzheng's death, and the legacy of reform is being eroded; Qi Jiguang was dismissed from office, and was trapped in Dengzhou due to poverty and illness; Hai Rui was living in Nanjing, with no place for his upright old bones. After sailing for more than 200 years, the great ship of the empire has gradually sunk. A "veteran cadre" who had been a civil servant for forty years became the captain of this broken ship. First clean up the inner court, and let Si Li Jian, Dong Chang and Jin Yiwei return home in three months. Stand firm again, fish out Qi Jiguang from Dengzhou, and use the new army system to reform the shortcomings of the "recruitment system and military households". Invite Hai Rui from Nanjing to correct the official atmosphere. Open the imperial examination to recruit young blood. Retrieve Zhang Juzheng's laws, just patch up, accurately dismantle bombs, clear fields, change taxes, and reorganize the army. Governing a big country is like cooking small dishes. If civil servants want to fight, they will fight, and if there are problems on the border, they will be solved. He used the patience of a sixty-year-old and the passion of a twenty-year-old to slowly wear out the times. One step a year, one road in ten years.

Good. One step at a time, one step at a time. Military reform, fiscal reform. Recommended, food and grass. ........................
A good book about the emperors of the Ming Dynasty. There has been a lot less writing about the Ming Dynasty emperors recently. Most of the top writers have gone to write about the Southern and Northern Dynasties. Although the Southern and Northern Dynasties are indeed a hot topic right now... But there are also reasons why people are disenchanted with the Ming Dynasty emperors, right? Although, it's not related to the topic, so I won't talk more. Although this book has some minor omissions, it can be regarded as one of the best-written Ming Dynasty emperor novels with good writing style and characters. Although it is a bit early to say this, after all, it is only 50 chapters, but if the author maintains his current level, he will not only be better than Wanli Mingjun, but at least be on par with Jingming. Digression: When I talk about Wanli Mingjun, I get angry. The author doesn't make any money. Before, he comforted him every day and told him to take good care of his health. But what did he think of the readers? He didn't even mention the level of two chapters in a month. Now that he has published one chapter in a month, he has done it. I want to run away and finish this book well, why not speed up the plot and then just recuperate? After eating the Twelve Heavenly Kings, it was completely ruined. I was really speechless.
