Battle of Defeat
by Winter Pine
About This Novel
The novel uses a lot of pen and ink to describe a fierce battle between China and Japan that took place in Qinzhou, Guangxi during the Anti-Japanese War. The scene was thrilling and extremely tragic. The author reproduces the original appearance of a period of history, not to exaggerate the cruelty of war, but to want future generations to remember history, remember heroes, and cherish today's hard-won peaceful and healthy environment. The work spans a huge time and space. The second half strives to describe a beautiful and comfortable life, and cleverly inserts artistically conceived diaries and inscriptions, which well reflects the author's intention. It is gratifying that the country has now designated September 30 as Martyrs' Day in a legal form to comfort the heroes and warn future generations.
