Death: Shadow of the Soul King's Journey to Become a Disciple (Spoilers Beware)

The identity and background of the protagonist is very interesting, and the relationship between the adopted siblings in the early stage is well written. The system is a master-apprentice system. A dojo is opened to recruit apprentices, who preach, receive karma, and resolve doubts. After the apprentices complete their training tasks, the protagonist can acquire abilities. One of the first disciples wrote a very distinctive story. One time, she was assigned to clean the kitchen, but she didn't come out for a long time. When the protagonist found her, he found her squatting in the kitchen and chewing radishes🤣🤣🤣... She is a big foodie who is always thinking about the protagonist's superb cooking skills. Even her Zanpakutō is related to hunger... Every time she appears, I am very happy to see her. It was later revealed (around chapter 100) that the protagonist's body was a spiritual skeleton created by Shutara Senjumaru, with the Soul King's shadow put in it, allowing the protagonist to grow independently. Once the conditions were met, the protagonist would be killed, and specific items would be taken out and used to treat the dying Shikatori Hatsuunsai, one of the captains of the 13th Gotei 13. Of course the protagonist didn't die in the end, because his sister Ba Yunzhai refused, and they got to know each other better... That part was a bit touching. Of course, the sister is not dead, and the protagonist desperately thinks of other ways to save people! No problem for now. The cp tendency should be to have multiple female protagonists. The one that is clear so far is the elder sister Ba Yunzhai. Others have hints that several apprentices admire the protagonist, but it is more subtle (probably)... There is nothing special about the system settings. The traditional mode of obtaining rewards for completing tasks is just that the apprentice completes the training tasks assigned by the protagonist. The protagonist obtains explicit rewards, and the apprentice obtains implicit rewards based on talent. Unfortunately, the narrative is a bit rigid and mechanized. After more than 170 chapters, the process of the system issuing rewards and obtaining the protagonist is still exactly the same as at the beginning. There is no simplification at all, and it is not silently integrated into the plot. There are not many introductions every time. It is difficult for me to judge whether the details are appropriate. I am just tired of the same format and think the author has handled this aspect very roughly. Except for the original foodie disciple who was very unique, the other disciples who joined later were basically carved out of the same mold. It was difficult for me to distinguish them based on their tone of voice and habits. They all spoke in the same tone. Except for the boy Aizen who was obviously suspicious and wary when he first joined, everyone else quickly developed a wonderful respect and admiration for the protagonist... And then quickly became a "wholesale" "good student in the eyes of the teacher". Except for Aizen's little moves, they are basically the same. The characters' dialogue and thinking always feel like NPCs, very AI and mechanical. The protagonist teaches all the apprentices who want to learn all kinds of fancy sword skills. I won't comment on the power. I don't care. After all, it is set by the author. But maybe the boring repetition during the apprentice's practice can be skipped a little? There are too many tricks that are flashy and have no characteristics. It is estimated that there will be more and more moves. Can any readers really remember them? Would you like to remember it? I didn't remember many of the protagonist's disciples. The only one I liked a little was the foodie. Other than that, Aizen didn't meet my lowest psychological expectations. Most of the characters were mediocre and had little interest in continuing to read. I reluctantly read so much because I was interested in Aizen, but now I can only say that Aizen's writing is not spiritual enough, and I will not remember him at all. Other than that, it's all personal opinion, some people may like it. Come on. Note: I wrote the beginning on February 25, 2025, and finished it on February 26 while fishing at work. I have read 191 chapters before writing the book review. 2.27, 3.2 Modification

Is the author the single heroine's admission captain? Or do you mean to concentrate on your career and not have a heroine?
