About This Novel
In a ruin called North America, there is a newly established country "Panam", with twelve administrative districts distributed in all directions surrounding the splendid capital Capitol. This strict and cruel capital forces each of the twelve districts to draw lots to select one boy and one girl as a "tribute" to participate in the annual event and fight to the death live on television in order to control and maintain its ruling order. Katniss, 16, is good at hunting. She lives in District 12 with her mother and sister Prim. Unfortunately, the weak and kind-hearted sister Prim draws the "lot of life and death" with no return. In order to save her sister's life, Katniss resolutely takes her sister's place in a ruthless, cruel and bloody hunting game. After Katniss struggled on the verge of death, survival became second nature to her. Peeta, who has a crush on Katniss, saves her life several times and finally touches Katniss's heartstrings of love. 24 Boys and girls have to defeat all opponents, but in the end there is only one winner.

very good book
It's worth reading. I like this book very much. I watched the movie, so I came to read the original work. I found that the original work was very well written and I couldn't put it down. It's a book I like very much!
Entering the trap too late
I watched the first movie in the cinema when it was released. I was still a junior high school student at the time and had never read the original work. Moreover, the first movie mainly showed the gameplay of The Hunger Games. I didn't have any other background, so I didn't have any deep impressions. It wasn't until last semester that I watched all four Hunger Games (I fell in love with my eldest cousin at the same time orz) and I gained a better understanding of the story. I really admire the heroine as such. Today I finally finished the original work. I followed the plot and thought about the scenes in the movie. I was more moved by the details of the novel. The ending actually made me cry. The power of words can even surpass my cousin's acting skills. This is amazing hahh (Also a little aside, something happened in the college last month, which makes me always want to fire down the evil student union. Thinking about Katniss's arrow that shot Cohen, I suddenly felt that I was not an ordinary sophomore. It seems that when I was a senior in high school, I liked the childhood so much because I cherished friendship under such pressure. Now I like The Hunger Games so much because I have personally experienced that even the student organizations on campus can be so social. I am very angry, but what can I do blabla Or maybe I just happened to see these two series of movies at these two time points_(:з∠)_There is actually nothing wrong with being in the second grade, just be happy♥

Don't believe any betrayal. All betrayals are based on trust. Peeta and Katniss got along with each other through sympathy, not written in black and white.
Even eating is a problem in District 12, let alone dressing up. That's why Katniss hasn't dressed herself up for so long until she meets Vinia.
Alas, sometimes we are so helpless. Katniss's family is too poor, so they can only rely on poaching to make a living. Although they know that this is illegal, there is no other way.
