"Never Stop Shouting" writes about many of us, our love and anxiety, responsibility and helplessness, compromise and perseverance. For a literary young man, at the age of thirty, if his ideals could be realized, he would have realized them long ago. But I didn't even sell a single painting. Many years ago, I was huddled next to the iron stove in the winter, with one hand exposed in a glove, and I could make myself very happy with just a pen.
