About This Novel
Thomas and Henry came to Clare Co. Almost at the same time. Thomas is a native of Portland, while Henry is from Arkansas. Thomas worked in the product design department as soon as he came to Clare Company, because he received a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Oregon; while Henry only received a bachelor's degree in financial management from Southern California. His job has been changed several times at Clare Company, and he currently works in the company's finance department. However, Henry was much better off than Thomas in terms of life, simply because he married the daughter of an Oklahoma oil tycoon. Although the rich man's son inherited most of the family wealth and company rights, Henry's wife still received a substantial inheritance including equity and real estate.
