The Cuckoo's Calling (original Work of the American Tv Series "detective Strike")
About This Novel
"Harry Potter" author J. K. Rowling's mystery novel written under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith. This series of novels has been adapted into the American TV series "Detective Strike", with episodes 1-3 as "The Cuckoo's Calling" and episodes 4-5 as "Silkworm". On a snowy night, a troubled female model falls from a balcony in an upper-class London neighborhood. She is believed to have committed suicide. But her brother suspects something is going on and asks private detective Cormoran Strike to investigate. Strike is a veteran who has been severely damaged physically and mentally, and his life is in chaos. This case resolved his financial crisis, but he also paid a huge price: he went deep into the complex world of female models, dark truths surfaced one by one, and he got closer and closer to fatal danger... This is a fascinating and elegant mystery novel, filled with a strong British atmosphere: the noble and quiet street scenes of Mayfair, the backstreet bars of the East End, and the noisy Soho. The Cuckoo's Calling is a masterpiece, the debut of detective Cormoran Strike, written by J. K. Rowling under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.

good book
I haven't read a mystery novel yet.
On a snowy night, a troubled female model falls from a balcony in an upper-class London neighborhood. She is believed to have committed suicide. But her brother suspects something is going on and asks private detective Cormoran Strike to investigate. Strike is a veteran who has suffered severe physical and mental trauma.
Got it
Let me tell you, those who are late come first.
Without the shiny new ring on her finger, she might have despised the sight.
It's been a long time since I watched Reasoning.
British mystery novels are indeed very unique.
Check in for tasks.
good book
In fact, JK Rowling's work did not disappoint, the writing was very delicate and beautiful.
Still got rejected?
After reading the ending, I only have one word to express my feelings: Damn! As a mystery novel, the reasoning part is so weak that it really makes you want to hit the wall! Why on earth did Bristol need to find a detective? I can't explain the motive at all! Although I don't expect you to give such a mysterious and exquisite ending, but now it's very cheating! ! If it weren't for Aunt Luo Lin's writing skills and detailed character descriptions, I wouldn't be able to give it three stars!
