After a heavy rain, the forest is filled with a special mellow smell. The cook Gu Tianwang stood up and opened the window, letting the scent of the mountains fill his wooden house. Guoxiang Restaurant became a mountain inn for Japanese troops. Gu Tianwang returned to his home in the mountains and felt a sense of relief. He was too tired, and his cough had gotten worse over the past six months. After being exposed to oil smoke all day for more than 20 years, returning to the mountains feels like life is starting over. He didn't want to go down the mountain anymore.
