About This Novel
The author created this novel based on personal experience. The protagonist Yun Xingxi suffered from cerebral palsy since childhood. Her parents divorced when she was 12 years old, she dropped out of school at 19 years old, and her closest relative in life, her grandmother, passed away when she was 22 years old. In 2008, she became homeless due to the "5.12 Earthquake". In 2012, she suffered from generalized dystonia superposition syndrome, which led to paralysis. The novel tells the story of how she relied on the power given by herself and everyone who cared about her to go as deep into her soul as possible to tear open the scabbed wounds one after another, and then with a pious heart, all the energy and wisdom, she carefully walked out of each pain.
