About This Novel
Sun Yu, a young painter who was trafficked in his early years, has been wandering east, west, north and south in recent years. His wallet was stolen in Yunnan, and he was stranded at a train station penniless, like a beggar. Amei, an Asi tribe member, took him in and lived in a hotel owned by Jin Hua, a Bai tribe proprietress. There, he unexpectedly read the manuscript of a novel by writer Deng Lin based on Li Mengchi (Rain Beats the Plantain) and the Golden Flower Boss Lady (Jian Dan Qin Xin). From the unruly middle-aged painter Li Mengchi's actions to escape loneliness, Sun Yu seemed to see the shadow of his father. So he continued to pursue the remaining novel manuscripts from Deng Lin.
