About This Novel
The small town of Ruby has been isolated from the world for decades and can no longer protect its purity and tranquility: a daughter pushes her mother down the stairs, a bride disappears on her honeymoon, brothers shoot each other, and the younger generation openly defies the traditions of their fathers... The men finally find the culprit - a nearby convent, in which a group of maverick women live, some are cynical, some are in love, some are wanted, or are lonely. They escaped their respective predicaments and came to this sanctuary. After being reborn, they became independent and willful, but inadvertently offended the traditional closed town of Ruby.
