When Gangzi climbed to the top of the fire-watching tower, he didn't expect a woman to be walking towards him. Gangzi stood in front of the fifty-magnification telescope, slowly rotating and looking around. The vast forest sea immediately filled his field of vision. Gangzi did not look at the black pine, cypress, spruce and birch forests, but specifically looked for the mist-filled areas in the forest. Once he recognized that it was not fog but smoke, he immediately used the radio to report the fire situation to the Fire Prevention Office of the Forestry Bureau more than a hundred miles away. On days when there was only fog but no smoke, or both smoke and fog, he looked at it repeatedly and countless times, and the task was completed.
