About This Novel

Everyone has a landmark in their hometown, and every landmark has an unforgettable memory. After the square was expanded, the area was not commensurate with the size of the small town. Perhaps it was because the land was cheap that the planners were so generous, but in comparison there were only a few people here. The afternoon sun is warm and transparent, making people drowsy. Several old men were sitting on the benches, holding their knees with both hands, looking like they were bearing the burden of humiliation. Three years ago, my father often appeared here. He had a high voice and was full of energy. He clearly inherited the legacy of the Cultural Revolution in his words and deeds. He is never short-sighted and mainly preaches major news such as the world situation, national policies and military developments, and most of these remarks come from the "Reference News" that he personally subscribes to.
