Dog of Babel
About This Novel
Once published, it appeared on the New York Times list at the same time as "The Kite Runner" and "Harry Potter". How much we love is how lonely we are. "The Dogs of Babel" begins with a suspenseful beginning, leading to the most sincere and tender theme: Is the communication between a man and a woman a dialogue, or two people talking to themselves? It allows us to understand love and understanding. The more you read it, the more chance you will have to open up your heart to those close to you. Wu Zhihong therefore said: The more we love someone, the more we desire to include this person into the world of our dreams. The closer the physical distance is, the farther the spiritual distance is. This is why others are hell.

A story of mutual healing and redemption
Many people say they don't understand why Lucy committed suicide. In fact, it is obvious that Lucy has certain mental illnesses such as depression, as well as personality weaknesses such as being too delicate and fragile. In fact, both Paul and Lucy are healing and comforting each other. However, Lucy was not completely redeemed and escaped from the self-isolated and lonely world in the end, but at least she met Paul and spent the last happy and fulfilling time in her life. Depression is very scary. Everyone who wants to commit suicide should not be reckless. Think more about the pain of losing those who love us and think more about happy times. This is also my own advice. I think this book is very warm and healing, and quite sad to read. I burst into tears several times in the middle, especially when I almost thought that Paul was going to jump too. Then Luo Li was so pitiful. She watched two masters die in front of her eyes without being able to stop it. It was okay, okay!
After reading it, I felt like there was a blood clot in my chest. I felt disappointed, confused, and puzzled. Is this the end? He still had no way of knowing why his wife committed suicide. Everything was just speculation. It was hard to say how much of this guess was correct. Besides, it doesn't have to be suicide. From beginning to end, he never really understood her. Yes, he loved her, but he never really got into her heart. Her past, her dreams, why is she sometimes hysterical? There is no answer. This loneliness is really suffocating. He was so desperate that he wanted to teach a dog to talk to tell him everything. This pillow person he held lightly in the palm of his hand had told her nothing, or she had told her, but he didn't understand. If this were love and marriage, it would be really disappointing, but this is it! This is love and ignorance between men and women.
The past can only be saddened, but the scene cannot be dismissed.

Everything has its own way of expression!
Paxter profoundly describes the emotional portrayal of a widowed man: he is unable to move forward, and can only remember the past sadly where he is. A heartfelt realization: When something happens and cannot be made up for, all that is needed is an understanding.
Can dogs talk in the end?
Just take a look.
Sad and warm, it touches the soul, tenderness and loneliness, heart-breaking. The warmer the past, the more painful the reality. It was such a beautiful and heart-warming scene when Paul and Lucy first met. Lucy's brown hair exuded charming golden light in the sunset, instantly lighting up Paul's lonely life. The unexpected death of Lucy, who was pretty, candid, talented and slightly mysterious, was regrettable. However, in their joyful and free talk, the first clues were revealed. Lucy once talked about her many bizarre dreams, including her own falling from a high place, and unexpectedly it turned out to be a prophecy.
Not bad.
I also wish there was a talking dog.
