About This Novel
Sunhe (1894-1966), courtesy name Shucheng, was born in Yancheng, Jiangsu. Philologist and lyricist. He studied law at Peking University at an early age and worked at China University, Fu Jen University, Jinan University, etc. After graduation. After the founding of New China, he served as a librarian of the Central Research Institute of Literature and History and a member of the first national ancient books collection and publishing planning group. "Sun Renhe Wen Cun" contains a variety of extant works by Mr. Sun, including "Zuo He Man Lu", "Study Praise Lu", "Lun Heng Ju Zheng", "Lu Shi Chun Qi Ju Zheng", "Mo Zi Ju Zheng", "Han Feizi Ju Zheng", "Characters' Aspirations" "Zheng", "Bao Puzi's Correction", "Three Kingdoms Identification", "Ning Yuzhai's Reading Chronicle" and other monographs and textual research, preface and postscript articles, as well as two "General Theory of Ci" and "Ci Zhen", and also compiled Mr. Sun's poems, lyrics and music works. This book is preceded by a preface written by Mr. Ye Jiaying, and at the end of the book is attached an article by Mr. Liu Yeqiu "Remembering Mr. Sun Shucheng".
