About This Novel

On February 4, 2025, Mr. Xiang Chu, a famous Dunhuang scholar, linguist, philologist, literary historian and Buddhist scholar, and an outstanding professor at Sichuan University, passed away. In order to express their remembrance of Mr. Xiang Chu, the School of Literature and Journalism of Sichuan University and the Institute of Chinese Popular Culture of Sichuan University decided to edit and publish the "Collected Works in Commemoration of Mr. Xiang Chu". The collection is divided into two parts. The first part mainly collects the commemorative words of Mr. Xiang's relatives, friends and comrades, as well as the students' memories and commemorative articles of studying, seeking advice and living with him, to express deep remembrance; the second part mainly collects representative academic papers of Xiang Men's disciples, to pay tribute to Mr. Xiang and carry on the past and future.
