Lao Gu's daily life is based on a schedule: get up at six o'clock, wash up, take the bus to Huaiyuan, walk four times along the Jinghu Fragrance Path; breathe in the sun 300 times; do the eighth set of radio gymnastics; bump the back 500 times; hit one Practice Chen style Tai Chi; have breakfast, go to the Royal Garden to buy vegetables; write; take a one-hour lunch break; write; read; have dinner at 7 o'clock, walk for 40 minutes to an hour at 7:30; watch TV at 8 o'clock; footbath for half an hour at 10 o'clock; go to bed at 10:30. The watch is posted on the wall above the desk in Lao Gu's study, and you can see it when you look up. The form was printed, with "Perseverance" written on one side and "Perseverance" written on the other. It was very much like a student's class schedule, and it once made Lao Gu feel like he had returned to his student days. The maker of the watch is Lao Mi. Lao Mi is Lao Gu's wife.
