This is not a fast food novel. Just calm down and read it slowly. The more you read, the more you will like it.
This is not a fun book, but the kind of book that makes you more interested in reading it after you sink into it.
After reading more than 2,000 hours on QQ Reading, I rarely recommend books. The more routines you see, the higher the threshold becomes. But I got into this book. Not because it's so exciting, but because it's "real" - a doctorate in history traveled to the Eastern Han Dynasty, had no system and no golden fingers, and relied on his knowledge of iron smelting to climb from a handyman step by step. The technology is hard-core but not pretentious, the supporting characters have their own thoughts, and the plot relies not on words but on secret power. Let me tell you a detail: I was very excited when I watched the night when the protagonist made the first good piece of steel from the burnt iron from the scrap pile. During the more than two thousand hours, there were many exciting moments for me, but there were not many that made me feel like I was "learning" and "burning" at the same time. If you are tired of reading "three chapters of slap in the face and five chapters of making a prince", you can try this book. The first ten chapters are slow, but those who get through it never give up. A veteran reader of more than 2,000 hours, I won't cheat you.
