About This Novel
Two good friends, 10 summer trips, one last chance to face each other's true feelings. Poppy and Alex have nothing in common. One always likes to dress up colorfully, one wears khaki pants and T-shirts all year round; one likes to party until late at night, and the other would rather stay at home and read a book quietly. Bobby and Alex met 12 years ago. They hate each other and are very confident they will never speak again. 11 Years ago, they were forced to ride home from college together, whereupon they established an unexpected friendship. They agreed to take a vacation together once a year. Alex discovered her fear of flying on a trip to Vancouver 10 years ago. Poppy held her hand the whole way. Seven years ago, they got too drunk and got identical tattoos in New Orleans. 2 Years ago, everything went wrong. There is no doubt that it was the most unlucky trip for two people. This year, she decided to convince her best friend to take another vacation together-to lay it all out and make everything better. Miraculously, he agreed. This journey would define the rest of their lives.
