About This Novel

The second volume in the "Angela's Ashes" series by American Pulitzer Prize-winning author Frank McCourt. In "Angela's Ashes", little Frank, who grew up in a slum but always insisted on his dream, finally set foot on the soil of the United States again at the age of 19. In "New York, Here I Come!" "", He went from a poor immigrant to an outstanding teacher. In the dazzling big city of New York, Frank worked as a janitor, kitchen handyman, and typist. He was drafted into the army. Without a high school degree, he finished college part-time and chose to become a teacher as his lifelong career. During this period, he got married and had children, but his marriage failed again; he told young students about the charm of literature, but he himself had to bear the burden of life... When the dream becomes the life in front of you, is it still what you envisioned in your mind? When a new world opens before you, is it really the life you want?

I read Angela's Ashes. I read that book several times. I didn't expect there would be a second one. Of course I have to read it.
