The sun passed through the gap in the curtains and crawled on the white wall next to the bed, spitting out a streak of yellow. As Xiao Min moved her eyelashes, the streak of sunlight shone brightly in her eyes. Xiao Min stretched out her hands from the quilt and covered her face. A ray of sunlight entered through the gaps between her fingers. It illuminated her heart like a flashlight. Her heart beat loudly and the thumping of gongs and drums could not stop. Xiao Min turned over and lay on the bed, her cheeks smeared pink under the pink pillow towel. Xiao Min had a dream. She was still far away from her wheat field when she heard the sound of Zhang Qing's bicycle running. She straightened up from the wheat field. Zhang Qing and his bicycle floated beside a poplar tree on the roadside and stopped moving.
