About This Novel
"The Fallen Boy" is the first historical science fiction novel by the postmodern absurdist writer Kou Hui. The protagonist Yingyuan is an 11-year-old boy from planet M. In order to save humans who are suffering from infectious diseases, he takes a spaceship to the earth, but travels through time and space and accidentally lands in the era of Qin Shihuang. He is named "Falling Boy" by the first emperor.
