About This Novel

After experiencing the pain of losing her husband, Kate kept her heart closed until she met the perfect man Dan. Just before Dan proposed marriage, Kate, who wanted a child, was diagnosed with infertility. Fortunately, Dan only wanted to continue to be his patron after marriage. However, just as she was about to start a new life and face the coming happiness again, Kate began to have a series of strange dreams. In that lemon-yellow "dream", her husband Patrick, who passed away twelve years ago, did not die in a car accident, but his appearance was as he would have aged if he were still alive. The two even had a beautiful daughter, Hannah, and lived together in their old apartment on Chambers Street in New York City when Patrick was alive. This is a second life that is too happy to be questioned, because every time Kate begins to hesitate about its authenticity, the structure of parallel time and space will be threatened. The picture flickers and sparks appear in the distance, instantly throwing Kate back to reality. Although the daughter Hannah in the dream is deaf, she is a little genius on the piano. After returning to the real world, Kate began to take sign language classes in order to be able to communicate with Hannah, and thus met Andrew, a sign language teacher who was a social worker. After Andrew learned that Kate was a music therapist, he invited her to tutor deaf children living in foster homes who needed help. During the treatment, Kate discovered that the thirteen-year-old girl Ellie not only had extraordinary musical talent, but also looked similar to Hannah in her dream! Kate, who traveled between the real world and the dream life during the day and night, gradually realized that she was just walking aimlessly because it was much easier than letting go of the past. Can these unexplained dreams make Kate fall in love again? Is it possible for two parallel periods of time and space to intersect? And are the whispers between her and Patrick in her dreams a useless remembrance of a past that she cannot return to, or a prophecy of a bright future?
