About This Novel
The protagonist Mino was close to Bart and his friend Ronnie during his childhood, but they both left Mino after that. When Mino was a student, he was insulted by a male classmate, who later died unexpectedly. Mino fell in love with Tong Han when he became an adult, and Tong Han also died unexpectedly. Bart returns many years later, but is estranged from Mino for some reason. Mino meets her new boyfriend Zhenyi, and learns that Zhenyi's brother who died many years ago was the male classmate who insulted Mino. When Mino and Zhenyi were preparing to get married, Zhenyi died while climbing. Time stays in summer forever. The occasional diary reveals the secrets of human nature. Thoughts and memories are intertwined into a labyrinth of emotions. It is a novel about warmth and coldness, incompleteness and completeness, selfishness and tolerance.
