About This Novel
This novel mainly tells the story of the love story between two people from Xi'an, reporter Li Fei and famous lady Du Rou'an, who crossed the boundaries of their family background. The novel not only describes the cultural landscape and turbulent current situation of the ancient city of Xi'an in the 1930s, but also follows the experiences of the two protagonists. It also spends a lot of words describing the vast customs of Western Xinjiang, as well as the legendary stories that happened in that land of mixed races and constant struggles, and reveals the author's humanitarian feelings of equality and fraternity everywhere.
