In 1937, the July 7th Incident broke out, North China fell, and the Battle of Songhu began. The Japanese army trampled China's mountains and rivers with iron hooves. From prosperous cities to remote villages, smoke was everywhere and people were in ruins. The story takes the All-out Anti-Japanese War from 1937 to 1945 as the timeline, focusing on three battlefields: the North China Plain, the Jiangnan Water Town, and the mountainous area behind enemy lines. It takes into account the brutal fighting on the front battlefield and the secret struggle behind enemy lines, and restores the awakening and struggle of ordinary people in the war years.
