Wind on the River Bank
About This Novel
A bizarre death occurred in a peaceful riverside town. The deceased seemed to have died suddenly of a sudden illness. There was no trauma or struggle. Everything seemed like an accidental death. Until the forensic doctor discovered an abnormality in an ordinary orange - the juice in the pulp was distributed strangely, and there were tiny holes hidden in the depression of the fruit base that were only visible under a microscope. A poisoning carefully disguised as natural death came to light. The murderer used a very fine syringe to inject fatal venom into the pith of the orange fruit, and used everyday fruit to complete the silent murder. However, no matter how perfect the technique was, there were still three flaws that could not be erased: abnormal pulp, hidden pinholes, and a syringe that could not be completely destroyed. All clues point to the same truth: the murderer is someone who has touched the fruit of the deceased at close range. The wind on the river bank seems gentle, but it carries the murderous intention hidden in daily life. When the flaws emerge one by one, the closest and most inconspicuous person will eventually be pushed to the center of the truth.
