Waiting for the West Wind
About This Novel
When we first met him, he was holding a book, shaking his head and reciting poems by the river in the garden. Suddenly, a little girl with a muddy face jumped out. In a daze, she held up a long black earthworm and scared him away. They reunited after seven years and bonded again. In the damp and smelly dungeon, she was leaning against the wall in bloody clothes. He said, "Don't be afraid, I'm coming!" She just wanted to smile and show that everything was okay, but she couldn't help but shed tears. He hugged her cold body and uttered "Si Mu, I'm scared" between his slightly trembling lips and teeth. Yes, she taught him fear and made him afraid of losing her. When were the seeds planted and when did they sprout? He only remembers seeing the confused look on her face when she raised her head from the book, and he rubbed her hair involuntarily; he only remembers smiling unconsciously when he saw her smiling beautifully. "Eighteen, I like you. Would you like to be my wife?"
