Wei Xiaobao is the male protagonist in Jin Yong's "The Deer and the Cauldron". Wei Xiaobao has the aura of the protagonist as soon as he appears on the scene. He is extremely lucky. I had never thought of reading the original work, but it was Mr. Jin's departure that inspired me to read the original work. The Deer and the Cauldron - hailed by many as Jin Yong's best and least martial arts novel. From the heroes and powerful weapons in the past, they have become the world of officialdom and clever debates in the world. The protagonist Wei Xiaobao was born in a land of fireworks, is greedy for money, lustful, despicable, full of lies, and barely understands martial arts. But it is this ruffian-like character who understands righteousness, justice and love better than many chivalrous warriors with strong martial arts skills in the book. He is willing to go through mountains of swords and seas of fire for his brothers, but when faced with those wives who have hurt him many times, he always maintains the posture of "Although you want to kill me, I still love you." With lucky cells, he helped Kangxi pacify San Francisco, conquer Taiwan, and fight against Rakshasa. At a young age, he had all kinds of fame, wealth and achievements, but in the end, because of the dilemma of loyalty and righteousness, he gave up his fame and retired to live a happy life. Overall, the story of The Deer and the Cauldron is humorous and exciting. Compared with previous simple martial arts works such as "Shooting the Condor" and "Swordsman", there are more elements of family, country and nation. Among them, the view that "it is more important to be a good emperor, or it is more important for a Han to be the emperor" is even more thought-provoking.
