I'm Not Human
by Mediocre
About This Novel
This is a unique novel. "I am not a human being" is not a slap in the face, but an excuse for being confused and tired of the adult life in front of me, and looking for an excuse for my embarrassing identity. In other words, it is a hypothesis. Assuming that "I am not a human being", I have become a pet dog, a tiger, a horse, a panda, a saint, a mouse, a nineteenth-century foreigner, a peacock, a child, a fish, a fairy, a future person... Twelve possible "transformations" constitute this mediocre version of "The Metamorphosis". With the help of the "transformed" identity and perspective, the adult world is completely analyzed and interpreted. The twelve escapes from the adult world actually become the twelve returns to the adult world: acceptance with resistance and integration with isolation. Both depicting the various aspects of the world and writing about human nature, the "transformation" perspective of this book has a lot of new ideas. Its "sense of isolation" just makes the book gain a sense of distance necessary for in-depth understanding. Therefore, in addition to the new ideas, it also contains many unique feelings and often makes understanding discoveries.
