Features of the novel "Ghost Matchmaker", the contracted work
"Ghost Matchmaker", a traditional supernatural novel, originally originated from a dream the author had. Then the inspiration came and he couldn't control it. He wrote 4,000 words and two chapters every day, which made him very tired. Because the supernatural theme itself is difficult to control, it is not as easy to start with as urban, fantasy and other themes. And because the author adjusted his work, he entered the palace eunuch when it had more than 400,000 words. Time flies. Over the years, the author has turned to traditional novels and written dozens of short stories, winning many provincial and municipal awards. In July 2025, the author participated in the training of the provincial online literature advanced research class and decided to continue to complete "Ghost Matchmaker", and then continue to open a book and look for new themes. With the support and help of deputy editor-in-chief Tian and editor-in-chief Yisuo of China Literature Group, I resumed writing 4,000 words and two chapters a day. Because emphasis is placed on plot and character creation, the quality of the novel is more lacking than excessive. The author strictly controls the plot conception, sometimes even burning the CPU, in order to give readers a good reading experience. The author has added the culture of filial piety into the novel. The protagonist is very filial to his parents, and the myths and legends of Taoism and the underworld are hidden in the background of the protagonist's experience in the novel, giving readers a refreshing feeling.
