It is indeed cruel for her boyfriend to crush a cat to death, but it is too hypocritical for her to always emphasize that flowers are alive and should not be picked. It may be more natural to say that the flowers withered shortly after being picked and allowed to bloom on the branches for a while. Moreover, she was not seen as a vegetarian and she only drank dew. Are pigs, dogs, greens, cucumbers, etc. All lifeless? She ate it without mercy?
This novel is so well written! The novel concept, original theme, clear main line, clear paragraphs, plus the ups and downs of the plot, it is really beautiful.
