To put it quietly, I think the difference in immortality should mean: the female protagonist has the best qualifications for cultivating immortals (mutated ice spiritual roots), but she is unable to absorb spiritual energy for her own use, and her body itself cannot contain spiritual energy. I don't understand why some people say this book is not well written... I just want to say that you can't understand it, it doesn't mean that others can't understand it. Overall, this book has a very novel conception, and it is a rather special fairy tale. I don't think there's anything shameful about the heroine relying on her master, and I think the heroine's character is quite good. It's not like the heroine doesn't work hard at anything and always relies on her master for one thing or another. She has a bad fate and she has been working hard to change this ending and finally stand at the top, so this behavior is not shameful... And in the plot, the master has disappeared, and her only support is her friends and partners who will never leave him.
