About This Novel
"Silent Mine" is a novel that combines hard-core science fiction, space opera and hunting themes. The story takes place in the distant future. Humanity has entered the era of interstellar colonization. On a frontier mining planet called K-7, Leo, an ordinary miner whose contract is about to expire, is accidentally involved in a cosmic conflict that spans hundreds of millions of years. When Leo and his workers discovered ancient alien relics under a mine 8,200 meters deep, they didn't know they were touching a seal - a living energy heart called the "Ember Core" locked deep in the core of K-7, guarded by three ancient guardians for hundreds of millions of years. The loosening of the seal released an energy signal that could spread throughout the galaxy, attracting the most dangerous predator civilization in the universe - the Karagon Empire. At the same time, the guardian who had been sleeping for hundreds of millions of years woke up. They sacrificed their entire civilization in exchange for the seal of the Ember Core, and now they must fight again. And Leo, a miner who was supposed to return to Earth after forty-seven days, was branded with a mysterious consciousness mark by the Guardians, and became the "key" connecting the three forces of humans, Guardians and Ember Cores. Under the burning sky on the surface, the three guardians are engaged in a desperate battle with the endless Karagon fleet; deep in the core of the earth, the awakening of the ember core enters an irreversible countdown; and between the two, Leo and his miner brothers hold high-frequency vibration knives for cutting titanium crystals, step by step towards the deepest part of the abyss, to break a lock that has been locked for hundreds of millions of years. This is a war spanning three civilizations. No one knows the ending. Including those hunters who have just arrived-
