About This Novel
Abao is a left-behind child in a mountain village. Although he is only ten years old, he is responsible for taking care of his four-year-old sister and often looks after his disabled uncle. He has almost never been to the world outside the town more than fifty kilometers away. During the summer vacation, Abao was taken to the city by his parents who were working in the city to spend the summer vacation. This allowed him to see the difference and vastness of the outside world. His young heart was filled with infinite longing for life, and ambition suddenly emerged in his heart. In the process, he met an autistic friend, Zifeng, and the two special children became friends. This article focuses on two special groups, left-behind children and autistic children, and hopes that society will pay more attention to the growth of these two types of children.
