About This Novel

I think this book actually has an ending. Cheng Shiju loves Xi Wei so much that he is afraid of losing Xi Wei. Therefore, there are two endings. One is that Xi Wei comes out of prison, is disheartened and no longer loves Cheng Shiju. In the second type, Xi Wei comes out of prison, decides to live a good life with Cheng Shijue, has a child, and finally grows old happily.
The plot is compact and reasonable, with little nonsense. It's quite good.
I have seen many people saying that the ending is unclear, but to be honest, I think the ending is very reasonable. Xi Wei initially made a series of plans for revenge, but it was precisely because of this that she met the person she loved and confirmed her heart. She has feelings for Gu Shijue. The whole story revolves around Xi Wei's desire to bring down the father who betrayed her and destroyed her family. It started with a broken person. In the end, Xi Wei took revenge in an irrational way and killed his enemy. He also paid the price (possibly going to jail), but the subsequent plot has also been written. Xi Wei and Gu Shijue have expressed their hearts to each other. I believe that Gu Xijue will wait for Xi Wei. After all, they have confirmed their love and are the ones who want to spend their lives together😽
