Guangxi Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County is located in the northeastern part of Guangxi, at the junction of Hunan, Guangxi and Guangdong provinces, between the remaining mountains of Dupang and Mengzhu in the western section of the Nanling Mountains. The book "Collection of Stone Carvings in Fuchuan, Guangxi" includes two major contents. 1. Materials (Compilation of stone inscriptions) With the assistance of rubbing experts, the stone inscriptions were rubbed as much as possible, organized according to the format of the stone inscriptions (horizontal or vertical), simplified, punctuated, and various information such as the location of the stone inscriptions, length, width, height, font diameter, calligraphy, etc., And a small number of rubbing pictures. It collects about 150 full texts of inscriptions, a small number of Ming Dynasty inscriptions, mainly Qing Dynasty inscriptions, and 10 rubbings or photos. Most of the inscriptions are about road construction, wind and rain bridges, academy education, government city construction, notices, ancestral halls, gate towers, etc. 2. The history and culture chapter (focusing on the introduction and research of stone carving materials by topic) is to write an introduction to the whole book, and generally summarize the preservation and distribution characteristics of Fuchuan stone carvings; select several topics for special research, such as Fuchuan Xiaohe Ancient Road, transportation and society, Fengyu Bridge, national culture, gate tower culture, etc., To highlight the academic value and practical significance of the Fuchuan stone carving collection.
