Dream of Red Mansions
About This Novel
"A Dream of Red Mansions" is set in the complicated upper-class aristocratic society of the Qing Dynasty as the background, with the love tragedy of Jia Baoyu and Lin Daiyu as the main line. Through the description of the rise and fall of the four major families of Jia, Shi, Wang, and Xue, "A Dream of Red Mansions" shows all aspects of the late feudal society in China in the first half of the 18th century, including colorful worldly human affairs. It can be described as an encyclopedic novel.

Daiyu
If the final ending of Dream of Red Mansions was written by Mr. Cao, would the ending be different? After all, he was so fond of Lin Daiyu, so he probably couldn't bear to let her die with hatred. Anyway, the death of sister Daiyu was not written by Mr. Cao himself. The sister Daiyu in my heart will not die. It was never her who should die. They are those defenders who can't see the twisted darkness behind the feudal system. I just want to say that Xue Baochai is so disgusting, why doesn't she die? I originally thought Xue Baochai was quite good, but she hated her since she slandered Daiyu's sister and eavesdropped, and even let Xue Yan support her. He tricked Jia Baoyu into marrying him, and then said that when Jia Baoyu got married, he would just keep to himself and not think about other women. She consummated the marriage with Baoyu while Baoyu was sad all day because of Daiyu's death, and forced Jia Baoyu to do things he didn't like to do all day long. How could she, Xue Baochai, have the face to be the second young mistress?

I am a Buddha, do you still want to buy Dream of Red Mansions? This is a good place to review books
It's really a pity that Cao Xueqin didn't finish it.
Is this the unabridged version of the original work?
I don't know which one is the original without abridgements. Is this the right one?
