About This Novel
"Journey to the West" is revered as one of the four classic Chinese classics. It is based on "Records of the Western Regions of the Tang Dynasty", folklore and Yuan dramas. The Song Dynasty's "The Tripitaka of the Tang Dynasty's Collection of Buddhist Scriptures" (originally called "The Tripitaka of the Tang Dynasty's Collection of Buddhist Scriptures") is the early prototype of the Journey to the West story in spoken language. Among them, the Tang Monk is based on Master Xuanzang.
