About This Novel
"Hero's Elegy" is the fourth volume of the mythological masterpiece "Xintian Ji" (a series of 153 novels), written by the outstanding contemporary Chinese novelist Zhou Jingfeng. There is a severe drought in the mortal world, burning the sky for nine days, and destroying the lives of the people. In order to save the people, Hou Yi climbed Kunlun, took the magic bow, sacrificed arrows with blood, and shot them down for nine days. The hero could have become a god, but was betrayed by his disciple Pengmeng, and Chang'e was forced to fly to the moon. Heaven was in darkness, the Jade Emperor favored the Sun God, Hou Yi was imprisoned and punished in the Divine Palace, and locked in immortal shackles. The former savior hero is now a prisoner. Chang'e entered the palace alone, Wu Gang secretly helped her, and the truth gradually emerged. The sun god colludes with the devil emperor, and the heaven will fall. The Queen Mother ran away, and the Three Holy Mothers knelt down to remonstrate and were imprisoned. When people are in panic, can the sun-shooting hero break free from his shackles? One arrow breaks the illusion and points angrily at the sky. What he shoots is not the sun, but the unfair way of heaven. When the word "public" on the plaque cracked, revealing the word "private" underneath, the three worlds were shaken - the tragic song of the hero has been ringing ever since.
