Echo Containment
About This Novel
I woke up in a locked study with a knife in my hand and a female corpse lying next to me. The cell phone displayed: The murderer--Chen Mo. The police knocked on the door and I thought I was dead. But the next second, the corpse got up, destroyed the evidence, and said lightly to the air: "The murderer's personality was successfully activated." Only then did I realize that this was not a murder, but a hunt. I am not a murderer, I am a scavenger. But before I could react, the world collapsed again-- There are no traitors, no missions, and no teammates. We are just food for space. I thought I was consciousness, but found that I was space itself. I thought I was the master of the system, but found out that I was a child who had been dead for thirty years. I thought I could save everyone and return to reality, but I found: Reality has long been extinct in the apocalypse. Containment sites are the last way for humans to survive. To go home is to die. Seven layers of reversal, no peeing spots throughout the process. Every time the truth is revealed, it pushes me deeper into the abyss. The first level you see, the second level, the third level... It's all lies.
