I recommend the author to add the game plot of Devil May Cry and Bayonetta (Bayonetta) to it. I just saw the Queen of Sheba... I just knew that the Queen of Sheba is so cannibalistic. The protagonist in Bayonetta summoned the Queen of Sheba. When the protagonist met Bayonetta, she didn't reward the protagonist with a set of torture tools!
To be honest, I understand why the author had to die for Hailey. Because of the problem of real-life actors, he was afraid that readers would not buy it. Let Hailey die once to show that Hailey is indispensable to the protagonist. Then resurrecting Hailey or turning into a ghost can reduce readers' dislike of Hailey as an actor.
