Hong Kong Island 1982
About This Novel
[Hong Kong style + era + fetus + strong female + inspirational life + no male protagonist (tentative)] Hua Kaizi opened her eyes again. She turned out to be a newborn baby girl in Hong Kong Island in 1982. She possessed the knowledge of modern people in previous lives and the wisdom of ancient officialdom, but her soul was trapped in infancy. She witnessed the warmth and sudden changes in her family, experienced panic and surges, and on the banks of the Hong Kong River where opportunities and crises coexisted, she was forced to watch the waves of the times sweep by as a baby. From kindergarten to university, Hua Kaizi vowed to take a different path. This time, unlike her previous life, she armed herself with knowledge, kept abreast of the pulse of the times, helped her family rise, and ultimately dedicated all she had learned to the rising homeland to which she was connected by blood.

I like to read this kind of period writing, or the writing about the Republic of China written by my parents, but I don't know if I can finish it while riding in the car. 🤚
I haven't read it yet, but I hope it's free of CP. There are really few books without CP.
