About This Novel
The author sets Sun Wukong as a female, from being born in Huaguo Mountain to becoming the leader of a group of monkeys, breaking the traditional rule that "female monkeys cannot be king", and establishing a new order in Huaguo Mountain through force and wisdom. She wreaked havoc in the Heavenly Palace and rebelled against the Heavenly Court; she subdued the White Dragon Horse to show her determination and compassion; through the conflict with the Great Immortal Zhenyuan, she described the similarities and conflicts between divinity and demonic nature; in the Daughter's Kingdom, Wukong appeared from the perspective of a bystander, and the King of the Daughter's Kingdom was also given an independent personality; in the end, Wukong and the Bull Demon King joined forces to subvert the Buddhist and Taoist system, and finally ended with "destroying the Buddha" to echo the theme of establishing a new order.
