Keeper of the Abyss
About This Novel
(Investigators, please make a 1d6 san check) Under the deep sea, near a sunken shipwreck, ancient creatures reappeared in the world, attracting a large-scale scientific investigation by a number of scientists, including the male protagonist. However, this is neither a natural miracle nor a mutation caused by the mysterious weapons left over from the war, but a unilateral massacre by an invisible enemy. The sea has become a prison for humans with excessive curiosity, and the abyss is a hotbed of evil. The real ruler of this world is peering at the tiny humans. Some people choose to become the followers of darkness, and some people choose to fight against the unknown power. So, what should investigators do? Face the indescribable, explore the unknowable, and exchange madness and soul for the truth of this world. This book is permanently free. Its original intention is to create a COC group running module. After completion, the complete content of the module will be made available to enthusiasts.

[Completed] A calm and meticulous Cthulhu-themed short story, in which ordinary people are plunged into an unspeakable crisis step by step. The truth is gradually advanced from multiple perspectives, and it feels like an investigator solving the mystery step by step.

The content of traditional Lovecraftian horror novels is the classic sacrifice of evil gods. In fact, it was originally called the Gate of Crossing the Silver Key, but I don't know why it was changed. It was originally well written, but since it is a short story I have temporarily classified it here.
