Above the Rules: I Write a Weird New Order
About This Novel
"When the rules of the world began to collapse, I discovered that I could write words in the void - and they would become the new laws." On the seventh night when the red moon is in the sky, everyone's mobile phones around the world have a synchronized countdown: 73 hours, 12 minutes and 8 seconds. When the countdown reaches zero, the laws of physics will completely fail. As the subway heads toward the abyss without a platform, there is a note on my refrigerator: "Those who eat leftover food will become part of the food forever." Everyone says this is the end. Until I saw a line of small words floating above my head in the mirror: [Permission level: 0|Number of words that can be written: 7\u002Fdaily] And in my right hand, I hold a pen that doesn't exist. On the first day, I added a sentence to the co-tenancy agreement: "No turning into a monster after midnight." The next day, I added to the elevator failure notice: "The fall will not last more than three heartbeats." On the third day, I added a new clause to the company's sacrifice rules: "The chosen one can designate a replacement." When others are struggling to survive in a collapsing world-- I sat on the edge of the rooftop and wrote in the night sky illuminated by the blood moon: "Article 1: What I write must not be distorted." "Article 2: Anyone who tries to tamper with my rules will be erased by the rules first." There are 71 hours left in the countdown. Enough for me to create a new order for this crazy world. --The premise is that I can live to the moment when I put pen to paper.
