As the clues were put together, Chen Nian gradually discovered that this relationship buried by time contained struggles similar to his own - hesitation about dreams, timidity about separation, and the resonance behind the word "like" that spanned twenty years. When she finally met the gray-haired Lin Wan in the nursing home, the old man opened the photo album, pointed to the young man in the yellowed photo and said, "Later we met again at the class reunion, and he said that he actually understood the book of poems from back then."
