This book was serialized for six issues in Shanghai's "Blue Book" monthly from May to October 1948 under the title "Nine Heroes of Guanzhong". In November 1948, it was renamed "The Night Pearl of Heroines" and was published by Shanghai Huaying Book Company and Guangyi Book Company. The first volume was published in a single volume, and the fifth volume was published in November 1949. The book consists of five episodes and ten chapters, totaling 250,000 words.
