The female protagonist is too paranoid about love. When the male protagonist does not know her, she forces herself to become someone similar to the male protagonist for the sake of that illusory love. Her likes and interests are deliberately catered to the male protagonist. The male protagonist is a scumbag and has no connection with his ex-girlfriend after marriage. Personally, I feel that the male protagonist cannot actually say that he loves the female protagonist. Most of it is because he is suitable and a small part of it is because he likes her.
