The ending of the protagonist is hinted at the beginning of the novel. I have read many be literature articles, but the final ending of the protagonist is different from the endings of other be literature novels, which I never thought of. Li Ai has experienced a series of campus bullying and domestic violence, but his previous feelings have been kept in his heart. What I thought was that he would choose to endure until everything around him is gone. But the ending is unexpected. The protagonist finally chooses to commit suicide because she cannot accept that her shadow in reality is completely different from her dream self. She doesn't ask for anything but wants a happy and warm family, but reality is cruel. The protagonist's background has always been extremely bleak. Only her sister has a little light, but even so, who will give her more love? Of course, who else could have endured it? Choosing the shadow of reality as the title is also very eye-catching. No matter how beautiful the scene in the dream is, there will be a huge gap when you wake up to reality. This reminds me of a work that says: "You can never truly understand a person unless you put on his shoes and walk the path he has walked.
